I served 7 years in the Army’s 1st Cavalry Division our of Fort Hood, Texas from 2000-2006. I have a lot of training in infantry tactics, small unit tactics, urban warfare combat, leadership techniques, problem solving ability, security measures, and proper counseling techniques. I spent a year in Iraq in 2004-2005 in Abu Ghraib and was stationed in Camp Victory North outside Baghdad, Iraq. I have led soldiers into combat, made men out of them and brought them all back home alive. I am highly decorated with awards that include the Bronze Star with “Valor” device and a Purple Heart. If I don’t know the answer I sure as hell will find the answer. My personal quote: “The difference between bravery and stupidity is timing.” -Daniel Petrik SGT, USA Ret.
